My dad instilled a strong work ethic in me from day one. He was a self-made small business owner and built a successful gourmet wine shop from the ground up. He was passionate about it. He worked hard, and he created a thriving business he loved. There were struggles and successes. I saw it, and learned from it. It’s never left me.
I gravitated to sales early and found a natural fit as a problem solver, advisor and advocate. From internet start-ups in the .com era, to enterprise software sales, to Microsoft, I’ve been fortunate enough to hold various positions in marketing, business development, direct sales and sales management. My proudest achievements have been helping small to mid-sized businesses grow, profit and achieve their goals. Born and raised in Washington, DC., my work experience has taken me across the country and back. Whether as an army of one or managing multi-million dollar territories and diverse sales teams, I’ve always applied an entrepreneurial spirit to ensure success for myself and those around me. But I’ve never lost sight of the core values my dad passed down to me – “work hard, do the right thing. Live good.”
