COMPANY: Fast-growing, successful eCommerce specialty yarn retailer

SITUATION: In 2017, the company had experienced astonishing growth, but encountered issues. The founder was looking for a CFO, practical assistance to implement improvements and a return to growth. Since then, Troy has been re-engaged multiple times to help with acquisitions & optimization efforts. For several years he has been on a long-term retainer contract.

SOLUTION: Initially, Troy implemented a series of financial tracking tools, a clear business strategy, then set about providing specific solutions to address and resolve each known problem. Since then, he has helped evaluate multiple brand and company acquisitions and assist in onboarding and optimizing these additions.

RESULTS: Initially, branding was updated, the problem of continual customer loss halted, stagnant inventory cleared, higher margin products added, and after 2 years of dropping sales year-on-year growth was achieved. Since then, the business has grown to an enterprise that has multiple companies & brands and is a potential Private Equity target.
